Nevertheless, I'll oblige.

While I appreciate your well wishes, I think you miss the point of the blog. I'll concede at times, I'm a bit snide, but overall, I believe I make a fair point.

No, I have never said I am owed a 6 figure salary or even a high five figure salary. I believe if a law degree conferred on its recipients the ability to earn a reasonable wage (say around $50k) and to build a stable career from there, it would not be a problem.

Instead, many law graduates - including those with good grade, from good schools end up with little more than a slip of paper that does nothing for them career wise. In fact, it can make it more difficult to get certain types of work.

If this tragedy was just limited to me, that would be one thing. There are, however, far better men and women who are in equally bad (if not worse) situations. Nobody went to law school to be a doc review slave, work in an abusive chop shop, or be unemployed.

The point of this site (when it attacks the LS cartel) is to point out the dangers and deceptions associated with law school.

If a financial group was deceiving its investors, no one would have any problem with exposing its misdeeds. These schools deserve the same scrutiny - especially when they throw students into massive debt and waste three years of their lives.

Furthermore, if nobody does anything to crack down on the law school fraud, then I am at least glad that I am in the position to warn others not to make such a costly mistake.

If you think that there is any benefit to allowing such a corrupt system exist without facing scrutiny, then it is you, not I who is out of touch with reality.Esq. I know it must be hard.

However, you have some maturing to do. How old are you? This is life. Nothing in life is guaranteed. Sometimes our efforts do nothing to move us forward in life. Other times, we are blessed with things we never imagined. I know you worked hard for your degree and you spent a lot of money to obtain it. But my advice for you would be to take the life lessons you are learning right now and keep moving forward. I am a young woman who has experienced a deep career disappointment as well even with impeccable work experience. I plan on going to law school. But I know it does not mean that I will have a six figure salary. What it means is that I worked hard for something that I wanted in my life and I hope for the best. If the worst comes, then I will take that and make another career move.

I do hope you find a position soon. It is very heart breaking to be unemployed and yet highly educated. But also realize that this is life. We are never guaranteed success and fortune. We are not even guaranteed the next day. We however do have to take what we been given and make the most of it. And besides, you never know what will happen in the future. Best of luck.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5618663158161665199.post-78938801751957547592009-12-19T04:03:56.446-05:002009-12-19T04:03:56.446-05:00To Anonymous December 17, 2009 1:01 PM,

It's too bad the legal profession won't get someone of your humor and intelligence, but, well, it really doesn't deserve you.Liznoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5618663158161665199.post-62208083845362522372009-12-17T13:12:38.410-05:002009-12-17T13:12:38.410-05:00Geez, I give you a nice script, and you can't ...Geez, I give you a nice script, and you can't just say "See Above".

It is funny, though. Bringing forth legitimate criticism about law school and offering some insight into my own job search is "bull" and even qualifies me as being "insane". It, however, is perfectly rational to continue reading a blog YOU DON'T LIKE and lash out it at it.

You're right, no one put a gun to my head to go to law school - I never claimed anyone did. On the other hand, no one put a gun to your head to make you read this blog.

I rarely post on other forums, so it's quite easy to avoid what I have to say. If you don't think my posts are interesting, humorous, or instructive, you're free to leave. As you say, take some responsibility...I'm not even going to charge you for your mistake.Esq. Did you ever stop ...Holy crap, you're paranoid! Did you ever stop and think that maybe people in a similar position as you are just fed up with your bull. Why do you think that adcomms are chasing you or honestly give a rats ass about you. Do you really think you're that important? Seriously dude, you're starting to sound freakier and freakier and may possibly be going insane (if not already). Plus, I really don't think that it would help your situation if employers were to find out who you were..uh...n0t exactly a "resume builder," to say the least.

By the way, of course, law schools lie. But I'll tell you a secret, so do politicians and corporations and, damn, especially lawyers....so, if you haven't realized that by now, then you're seriously beyond anyone's help. Yes, it can be a cruel cruel world out there, but no one put a gun to your head to go to law school...so, take some damn responsibility for your own decision as an adult and don't expect others to give a crap about your plight when everyone else has their own!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5618663158161665199.post-15090539594693376672009-12-17T09:12:28.665-05:002009-12-17T09:12:28.665-05:00I'm sure you're not ugly.. and if you are....I'm sure you're not ugly.. and if you are.. It seems like if they are not outright fraud, they are at least highly and unethically deceptive.

In what other business transactions would it be permissible to sell a product while knowingly engaging in falsifying information about it?

Why do insitutes of higher learning get a pass on this? I mean, even now that the "word" is getting out, law school administrators are coming out and flat out denying that there is anything fraudulent or misleading.

I don't know...something just smells funny about it all.

ToBeAJDAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
